Cantine Adanti

- A legacy of elegance, passed from generation to generation

“We pay particular attention to manual operations - from pruning to meticulous hand-picking bunch by bunch - carried out exclusively by people trained In the vineyard who are perfectly familiar with each plant.”

Domenico Adanti

Since 1974, when brothers Domenico and Pietro Adanti acquired what was once a monastery, Cantine Adanti has been dedicated to crafting wines of elegance and balance. Their approach has always been about moderation and drinkability, refining Sagrantino’s bold character while elevating Sangiovese’s potential through delicate vinification techniques.

The late 1970s marked the beginning of a winemaking legacy when Alvaro Palini joined as winemaker, laying the foundation for the refined Sagrantino we know today. Decades later, that tradition continues with the next generation: Daniela and Donatella Adanti now lead the winery, while Daniele Palini has stepped into his father’s role as winemaker, ensuring that the friendship between the two families lives on in every bottle.

Rooted in history yet always evolving, Cantine Adanti’s wines are a perfect balance of heritage, finesse, and the artistry of time.
