Nestled in Torgiano, on land once inhabited by the Etruscans, Fattoria Mani di Luna is more than a winery—it’s a philosophy. Spanning 35 hectares along the Chiascio and Tiber rivers, as well as the surrounding hills (200–400m altitude), this estate has long been recognized for its exceptional fruit-growing potential.

Originally part of the Lungarotti family’s holdings, the land was passed to Mario Cascianelli in the 1970s, a passionate countryside enthusiast who saw its true value. But it was in 2012 that three friends—Simone, Rocco, and Alessandro—came together to revive the Azienda under a new vision: one of organic and biodynamic farming, deeply connected to nature’s rhythms.

At Mani di Luna, everything is done by hand, following the lunar cycles and constellations to guide vineyard work. Since 2008, the estate has been fully organic, and since 2012, fully biodynamic—ensuring wines that are not only pure expressions of the land but also crafted with respect for the environment, the vines, and the people who care for them.
