Le Thadée

- A Small Winery with a Big Mission

“Among their most treasured holdings is a vineyard with pre-phylloxera vines over a century old— ungrafted vines that survived the devastating 19th-century phylloxera plague.”

Founded by Gianfranco and Alessia Natali, Le Thadée may be a young winery, but its roots run deep. Originally dedicated to olive production, the family seized the opportunity to acquire historic vineyards once belonging to a renowned Montefalco winemaking family. Since releasing their first wine in 2018, they have been on a mission: to craft wines that honor nature, history, and the true essence of the region.

Situated in the rolling hills of Montefalco, Le Thadée follows a strict organic farming philosophy with minimal intervention, allowing the land to speak through every bottle. Among their most treasured holdings is a vineyard with pre-phylloxera vines over a century old—ungrafted vines that survived the devastating 19th-century phylloxera plague, offering a rare and pure expression of Montefalco’s terroir.

With a holistic approach to sustainability and a deep respect for Montefalco’s winemaking traditions, Le Thadée is proof that great wines are born from passion, patience, and an unwavering commitment to the land.
